This is Jamie and Casey, the coolest helpers I could hope for. The really helped me out a ton. I couldn't have done it without them. They were good examples to the girls. They just slept out under the stars... or should I say coconut trees. Good thing the coconts didn't feel like falling.
These girls have never camped before. This is Chrishaunna, Payton, and Maurissa. They had so many bags you'd think they were going to be gone for a month. We made them pitch their own tents and they helped with meals. 
Too cushy if you ask me. You can barely call that camping.
They hiked the mastic trail. If you can call it a hike. It is only two miles and the highest point is 60 feet above sea level. These girls grew up here and have never done this trail. They complained a lot at first but they enjoyed it by the end. They sure squeled when they had to get there feet wet in the wetland portion of the trail. We had a great time cooling off at the blow hole after.
Pretty easy camping when you have a pool right next to you. The girls swam a lot. It is the best way to cool off in the heat we have here.
This is Samantha. She got to join us the last night. She always helps me with the girls during church on Sunday. She sure loves Juliana.
The treasure hunt was a highlight of camp. The girls had to look up scriptures at each step to help them answer a scenario of a situation they might encounter in their lives before they would count pases and follow directions to the next step. This is them digging up the treasure.
..well, atleast Maurissa seems happy about the treasure. What were they expecting? Gold? This is eternal gold.. much better!
It was a great but short camp. For only having a month to plan it really went great. It went so well we might even do a longer camp next year... but I refuse to think about that for now.
